The sky is intense blue. The air is mild .The grapes become violet black or gold and sugary, they are finally ready for a good vintage. Leaves are taking sumptuous colours, reds, oranges, golden yellows. Figs are ripe. In the distance, one can hear the San Leolino’s bells. Good life at its best!
To celebrate the season’s changes, Festivals are organized in many cities and hamlets in the region, Greve, Panzano, Radda, Castellina, Gaiole… Chianti is the essence of typical Tuscan landscapes, loved by artists of all times and of all parts of the world., with its ancient castles, with its towers and romantic legends, with its traditional Tuscan cottages surrounded by fragrant cypresses, with its vineyards,
And I, Villa le Barone, in my scenic and beautiful surroundings, take an active part in autumn’s changes. The climbing vine on my facade gradually changes colours to come on fire with carmine red; the roses are giving their last flowers; the dahlias are at their peak.
More than ever, I deserve the name of charming hotel, of romantic hotel. Hills full of colours, flowers, birds, autumn leaves beg to be photographed or painted, and nothing pleases me more than to welcome artists, beginners, amateurs or professionals. I see around me many photographers trying to capture the surrounding beauty and participate in our photo contest. Many of my guests also draw and paint, and some of them are taking drawing and watercolour courses with qualified artists. This artistic excitement delights me: it is proof that the beauty of the Chianti has always been within reach of all.
