Summer holidays in Chianti are simply fabulous, and this is particularly true if one stays at the boutique hotel Villa le Barone.

And this is without speaking of the famous “Palio di Siena” that needs to be seen once in life… you can also – of course- go to Florence, a bit crowded in summer time, but still, a jewel to be admired … and it is such a pleasure, after a busy sightseeing day, to come back to quiet and refreshing Villa le Barone ‘s location, on top of a hill, and to immerse oneself in its cool greenness while waiting for dinner to be served!
