Hotel Villa le Barone, located on a top of a hill in the heart of Chianti in Tuscany, offers breathtaking views on the surrounding hills, the vineyards, the olive groves and the medieval houses that dot the landscape forged by man over centuries.

All views that surround the historic country hotel Villa le Barone are inspiring and bring  peace of mind.
The scenic beauty of the San Leolino hamlet with its Romanesque church is particularly moving.
The landscape and the views change over the seasons, with spring‘s profusion of bright colors, summer‘s deep greens, autumn’s burnt orange and warm purples. They are also change by the hour, with magnificent sunrises that guests can admire from our private tennis court or from the fitness trail as well as  with the spectacular sunsets that can be enjoyed from the pool or other terraces while seeping a good glass of Chianti wine.

From the rooms, guests can also get spectacular views: from the tower room number 10, in the Villa, you dominate the horse chestnuts and get the full Chianti hills panorama. From room 26, you can watch the flower garden, the vineyards as well as  the grazing playful horses next to the small lake in the valley. From rooms 16, 18 and 15 you have views on the San Leolino church, from your terrace in room 12 you have also a superb view on the countryside … And the views on the garden from many other rooms are not bad either!
