The pool, the tennis, the fitness trail, the various terraces at Hotel Villa le Barone are offering breathtaking views on the surrounding Chianti hills, the San Leolino church, the olive groves and vineyards around. In addition, from many of the rooms one can enjoy the marvelous views of this protected unique environment.

Wherever you stand in Villa le Barone, located on a hill, you are submerged by the beauty of the Chianti landscape, a landscape in continuous change, depending on the season, on the time of the day, on the weather.
From the tennis court, one can enjoy spectacular views on beautiful Chianti Classico vineyards and forests.  From the pool, relaxing on comfortable sun loungers, one can admire the San Leolino hamlet and its Romanesque church. Immersed in the rose garden, resting on a comfortable deck chair on the lawn, one can also enjoy the beauty of the Chianti hills covered with forests, vines, olive groves, dotted with ancient traditional farms.
If you want to have a drink or a light lunch you can have it on the terraces close to the entrance under the horse chestnuts or under the yellow parasols, looking at the flower and vegetable garden and beyond at the Chianti landscape. You can have dinner and breakfast, weather permitting, on another terrace, also with a beautiful view above the boxwood edge… and possibly with the moon shining over the pine tree!

Another treat is the “heart terrace”, with its heart shaped boxwood and flower beds from which you can enjoy wonderful sunsets, sipping a nice grass of prosecco and on which you can have a splendid dinner served in tête à tête with your loved one. In the foreground, more vineyards of the “Conca d’Oro” and Panzano alto!

All of our rooms are quiet, some have spectacular views on the rolling hills, some on the San Leolino hamlet, others on the gardens …
“Scenery is spectacular…” wrote Paul and Linda R, USA, in our golden book on October 2015… Yes, wherever you stand, at Villa le Barone, there are spectacular views on the Chianti landscape
