Yellow, the color of Hotel Villa le Barone

Yellow is the emblematic color of Hotel Villa le Barone, a boutique hotel in Tuscany. Obviously, yellow is the color of the Tuscan sun, but it is also the color of the sun umbrellas, of the uniforms of maids, of the flowers… that guests will find in this charm hotel.

When they arrive at Villa Barone, guests are welcome with yellow sun umbrellas on the terrace in front of the Villa. The maids, with their yellow uniforms are called by one of our clients” the yellow fairies”. Yellow is also the color of the pansies that we plant every year in boxes and potteries for our opening at Easter. Of course, it is the color of many of the bouquets in our reception and restaurant, made for example with forsythia in spring or sunflowers at the end of the summer! In our gardens, many species of roses or dahlias are yellow, and we use them to welcome guests in their room! The “Corsi Design Factory” (a small Italian company but that works for the top designers), made especially for us the placemats on which we serve snacks, in shape of fried eggs but with reversed colors.

And we also brought the yellow inside the living rooms, with the comfortable sofas and yellow arm chairs, of typical Tuscan style, made by our upholsterer, Mr Iandelli.
Indeed yellow is the color of joy, life, movement! It symbolizes the return of spring. It is the color of sun, of the Tuscan sun. As Vincent Van Gogh wrote in a letter to his brother Theo “Yellow is so beautiful!”. Come and enjoy the full range of yellows in the boutique hotel Villa Barone in Tuscany!
